Stargazing

During the indoor portion of our program from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., we will learn how to read a sky chart and learn some fun facts about the stars. If the weather is clear, from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. we will spend some time outside viewing the cosmos through "time machines" (telescopes) provided by Westminster Astronomical Society (WASI). Feel free to bring your own telescope! We will assist with setup and focusing as needed. Wear sturdy shoes as some night hiking is required to get to the viewing field.
