Come get your "haunt" on for Halloween! Join the Friends of Soldiers Delight and help raise badly needed funds for conservation at this family-oriented pumpkin-carving fundraiser for children (8 and older) and adults at the Soldiers Delight visitor center. Learn how early settlers carved jack-o-lanterns and find out how this ancient custom originated.
Fundraiser is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the visitor center auditorium at the Soldiers Delight visitor center, 5100 Deer Park Road in Owings Mills, Maryland
Bring as many pumpkins as you will help your children carve!!
Carving knives will be supplied, but parents must assist children who are too young to handle knives by themselves. Carving patterns will be available, but feel free to print out your own to bring along.
