Stargazing

Join the Westminster Astrological Society (WASI) as they explore the wonders of our solar system by taking a journey across planetary realms.

During the indoor portion of the program from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., you will learn the constellations and have your questions answered about the galaxy. If the weather is clear, from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. the group will spend time outside viewing the cosmos through "time machines" (telescopes) provided by WASI. Feel free to bring your own telescope! WASI will assist with setup and focusing as needed. Wear sturdy shoes as night hiking is required to get to the viewing field. This program is eligible for the Model B Junior Ranger Program. Signup is encouraged.
