Don't Miss the STEM festival at Lyons Mill Elementary School!

If you have a child enrolled at Lyons Mill Elementary School in Owings Mills, Maryland, you won't want to miss their STEM festival Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on the school grounds. Soldiers Delight Conservation, Inc. will be there with our always popular "prescribed burn activity for children" plus lots of interesting displays about geology, invasive plants, leave-no-trace concepts, and our beloved serpentine barrens. Other vendors will include Baltimore County Public Library, Irvine Nature Center, Oregon Ridge Nature Center, a Home Depot Kids Workshop, and music, popcorn, and snow cones. Don't miss it!
