Full Moon Hike

There is magic in the air as the Full Moon shines upon our trails. Soldiers Delight naturalists will lead a hike along our Serpentine Trail as you enjoy what the moon will bring! Experience the dark beauty of this natural environment area while learning about nighttime ecosystems. We will be hiking in the near dark, so flashlight use will be permitted in the parking lot only.

The hike along both trails combined will be about 2 miles long with some rocky terrain and a bit of uphill climbing. The trail is 2.5 miles long on variable terrain with a few sections of maneuvering. Hiking boots are recommended. Dress for the weather. This hike is limited to 15 participants ages 12 and up and will be cancelled if skies are not clear. Sign up is required.
