Where: Soldiers Delight NEA
How Much: FREE, Donations Welcome!

Join the Westminster Astrological Society (WASI) as they journey into the depths of  mysterious entities to uncover the secrets they hold about the nature of gravity and the cosmos. We will delve into one of the most intriguing and enigmatic phenomena in the universe: black holes and the force of gravity that governs them. Our discussion will explore the formation of black holes, the role of gravity in their behavior, and the profound implications they have for our understanding of the universe.

Rain or shine, during the indoor portion of the program, you will learn the constellations and have your questions answered about the galaxy. If the weather is clear, the group will spend time outside viewing the cosmos through "time machines" (telescopes) provided by WASI. Feel free to bring your own telescope! WASI will assist with setup and focusing as needed. Wear sturdy shoes as night hiking is required to get to the viewing field. This program is eligible for the Model B Junior Ranger Program. Signup is encouraged.
